Scheduled Tours

A Bon Vivant scheduled day tour is perfect for one person, a couple, or even a small group.

Your tour will be shared with other guests, though no more than 12 guests per tour. (If you’re planning for more than 12, contact us for a custom tour!) This enables our boutique wineries to provide you with full attention and to be able to answer all your questions about their winemaking expertise, enhancing your experience. And just think of the new friends you’ll make, as together you visit the tasting rooms.

The day starts with a call from your Bon Vivant Wine Tour Guide reconfirming pick up time and location, typically a downtown Seattle or Eastside hotel or Airbnb. On the way to the first tasting experience, your tour guide will update you about the Washington wine industry, and what you can expect during the day. One of the fun things is that your tour will be curated to accommodate the palates of that day’s tour guests.

At the first stop, you will visit one of Washington’s larger wineries, where if available that day, you will tour their wine making facility. These larger wineries offer a variety of tasting options for you to choose from. FYI, tasting fees run from $15-$25 per person, please budget accordingly.

Depending on that day’s tour, your Bon Vivant Tour Guide may whisk you off to a top local wine restaurant, with lunch to be enjoyed in the company of  the other tour guests, and your Bon Vivant Tour Guide. Or, you may do a “progressive lunch”, ordering say flatbreads at one winery, and chocolates for dessert at another. Please budget $15-20 per person for lunch.

Following lunch you will visit 2 or 3 boutique wineries or tasting rooms. Note that these are small wineries, and their wines may not be available at your favorite wine shop back home. We encourage you to buy a bottle or two, or 12. Besides having a tangible reminder of your fun wine touring day, most wineries will waive part or all of the tasting fee with purchases. 

Following your delightful day, your tour guide will return you and your party to your point of departure between 4:30 and 5:30
